Content Note
This collection contains one original copy and two photocopies of Walter Graves’ typewritten manuscript on the early history of Fairmount College from 1892 to 1907. The author’s insights provide much information on the development of the college and about the controversy plaguing its relationship with the Congregational Church and Washburn University in Topeka. Graves was a physician in Wichita, and he served on the Board of Trustees of Fairmount College for many years.
