A Past to Draw On is an autographed manuscript by John Glenn. The manuscript represents an expression on his part of man's inspiration to explore the stars and his concept of the kind of individuals necessary to accomplish this mission. The story also presents a capsulized version of John Glenn's life from his first car to his first space flight in the Friendship 7.
