Content Note

Carry A. Nation was a nationally known figure in the late 19th and early 20th century temperance movement. The collection contains correspondence about a saloon-smashing incident in Wichita in 1905, her bail bond from another incident in Wichita in 1901, and a photograph of Nation from the same time period.
