to publish them. Manuscripts cannot be used for publication without regard for
common law literary rights, copyright
laws and the laws of libel. It is the responsibility of the researcher and

Content note:
The Ross Taylor Papers include personal correspondence concerning a variety
of subjects; stories written by friends, brand applications, speaking opportunities,
etc. Correspondence from Mr. Ross's term as faculty and department head of American
Studies at Wichita State University also comprise part of this collection. Information
on some of the trails in Kansas are also included. Most of the collection is
from the mid 1940s to late 1970s.
