Contains the Shan Prayer Book Manuscript, which
is a religious work written in the 19th century. It is forty pages in length
and written in the Shan language. The contents deal with religious matters
and is a religious treatise employing numerous Pali words. The writing is
also of Shan paper, which is manufactured in the Shan States in east central
Burma. The paper is made by hand from the bark of the maiksaile tree, a
species of the mulberry which grows abundantly in the Shan States. For a
