This collection contains the minutes of the 1907 meeting of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale. The meeting was held in Brussels, Belgium, and was one of the earliest attempts to gain international cooperation in developing aviation. Delegates from several European countries and the United States attended the meeting. The minutes are in French.
The Fédération Aéronautique Internationale was founded in 1905. It is a non-governmental and non-profit international organization which endeavors to further aeronautical and astronautical activities worldwide, to ratify world records and to coordinate the organization of international competitions. Over the years, 100 countries have joined the organization.
