is granted to examine the manuscripts, it is not an authorization to publish

Content note:
The David and Betty Scherr Collection is comprised of issues of national magazine
publications to commemorate or report important historical events. Among the
magazines included are Life, Look, Saturday Evening Post, and Time. Among the
events covered are the Kennedy Assassination and the Apollo landing on the moon.
A complete listing of the magazines, including volume numbers and dates, can
be found in the finding aid.
