Content Note
The Ploughman’s Band Collection consists of
a record book containing the minutes of the band’s meetings from 1879
to 1884. The minutes include acquisitions of instruments, finances, rehearsals,
concerts, and the construction of its own building near Dillon, Kansas,
in north central Kansas near Herington.
