Topics covered in this scrapbook show the wide range of interest to women
in this period which the YWCA addressed. Newspaper articles cover the
Women’s Work Option program; workshops for displaced homemakers
and tenants; the Crisis Center and domestic violence; the “Woman
Experiencing” program which offered communication skills, assertiveness
training, money management, fashion tips, and exercise discussions; and
counseling for rape victims, career management, and health services.
