Content Note

This collection contains newsletters, articles, pamphlets and other published material relating to protests by Iranian students concerning the Shah of Iran. During the last half of the 1970s, the movement echoed the unrest in Iran and was in protest to the policies of the Shah and his secret police force, the SAVAK. The movement also protested the support for the Shah given by the United States government. The articles in this collection are taken from college newspapers in Iowa and Kansas. The fliers and protest schedules are for the campuses of Kansas State University, University of Kansas, and Wichita State University.
