Description: Marshall Murdock residence, northwest corner of Murdock and St. Francis. The original part of this residence was built in 1874. Over the years, additions were made to the house. Through the Midtown Citizens Association the original part of this house was saved and moved to the Old Cowtown Museum. It was restored and the official ribbon cutting was in June 1982. Murdock was the owner and editor of the Wichita Eagle.
