Acknowledgments

Commencing the spring of 2000, Special Collections and University Archives, Wichita State University Libraries, with valuable assistance from the Kansas Library Network Board and James C. Mershon, M.D., worked to digitize and make accessible on the Internet over 325 historical maps of Kansas.

Special Collections is very thankful for the support of the Kansas Library Network Board and James C. Mershon, M.D.  We appreciate the willingness of these funding sources to invest in new ways to access, view, and study historical maps of Kansas.
