Suggested
keywords for Fourth Grade students: boat, dog,
kitchen, girl, boy, baseball, streetcar, etc., and
the date 1900. These searches will reveal manageable
lists of interesting photographs. Students may use a keyword
of their own choice, but advise them that a word such as car
is not as appropriate as automobile. The word automobile
will reveal 133 choices, which is a long list to scroll through.
Images will appear in chronological order, oldest first.
Optional:
If you want to look at a "Now" view of the Street
Scene photograph from Step 1, enter the keyword typewriter.
